If you are looking for a star atlas, this is not for you. The atlas has six plates. The plates only depecit constellation boundaries at the best. The stellar asterism isn't very clear nor all the magnitude six stars (and brighter) shown. And in my particular copy, I found that no one checked if the pages were properly sequenced, leave aside proof reading.Yes if you must buy it, buy it for the antique value. And the 29 pages of data which may be helpful to a beginner.
