Let me start with the fact that I actually have decent lashes on their own(they're long & semi-thick), the issue with them is that they are white/blonde and, WITHOUT mascara, you would never even know they were there. I have tried, what seems like, EVERY mascara on the market to find one that won't run, adds length, adds fullness, is a ONE step product, AND is easy to apply/remove. I know, that's a a lot to ask of one product, but I still held out hope that SOMEday, SOMEwhere, SOMEone could come up with a mascara that fits the bill. I'm happy to say that THIS product is my Holy Grail of mascara! It actually DOES what it claims it does! I have tried mascara in every price point; from the $ store to the cosmetics counter in Macy's. I had been using a similar product from Revlon(a 2-step tube with a red cap on one end and a white one on the other. Can't remember the name off hand). I loved the length/fullness it gave me but it always seemed so clumpy, and FORGET about sleeping in it and trying to reapply for a fast thouch-up, THAT was just a mess that left me looking like I had blk wooly caterpillar on my eyelids(I KNOW you should always take your make-up off before bed, but who can HONESTLY say they've never fallen asleep w their makeup on & only had time in the morning for a quick touch-up? Ya, I didn't think so). So, delivery was fast(it was a Prime item), & I was eager to try it. The tube is the same size as all other mascaras on the market(I've learned that just because it LOOKS bigger than others, doesn't mean you get more product), & was easy to open. The wand is a standard, straight wand but, for some reason, the design of the opening does a wonderful job at removing all the extra globs that sometimes tend to accumulate on other wands when trying to use them. It went on smoothly, covered each lash separately without clumping them together, but, will generally need a second coat. I figured out quickly that by applying 2 coasts, the lashes stay separated giving a much more natural look. Application was easy, fast, & exactly what I've been looking for! I got caught in the rain on my home that afternoon and expected to look in the mirror and see myself looking like Alice Cooper in the 70s?(if you don't get the reference, Google him), BUT, to my surprise, there was absolutely no running of any of my makeup! Before bed, while removing my makeup(yes, I DO do this as my reg routine lol) I figured THIS would be the test to whether this product was too good to be true... Once again I was pleasantly surprised! Removing it was simple; with a little warm water, a soft washcloth, and a gentle hand the 'tubes'(as I like to call what's created around each lash when applying this product) just slid right off! It was so easy and didn't damage or pull on my lashes whatsoever! I couldn't be happier! I HIGHLY recommend you try this mascara, it's everything ALL OTHER mascaras strive to be but fall short of in one aspect or another!I have some pretty bad self esteem and body image issues so I actually don't wear a lot of makeup but the one thing I do wear is mascara because it's the one feature that about myself that I do like. Prior to making this purchase I was using another brand that required the use of regular mascara, then a two other wands, whereby I had to wait for the mascara to dry completely and then apply a wet 'sealer' and then a 'fiber' which would sometimes fall off, and then the 'sealer' again to lock in the '3D' look. Sometimes I was very pleased with the look, however, the amount of time and effort was really not worth it. Also, it wasn't really waterproof.This Lavish Lash was appealing to me because it was advertised as HD and it stated it was waterproof. Upon receiving the mascara, it seemed small, and even the directions said 'Apply several coats for best results.' I thought, really? HOWEVER, when I pulled the brush out, no clumps, no sticky or that noise you hear when you go in for more-you ladies know what I mean. I used the wand on one eye and moved to the other moving from the top of the bottom of the lash to the top. After completely both eyes, I realized that I did not have to insert the wand in for another coating! I went back to the other eye and was able to do both eyes each 3 times without having to 're-dip' the wand. I had no clumps, took way less time and I was super happy with the fact that the several coats I needed could be achieved with just that one dip. And in fact, while the bottle does look small, it has some weight to it-so don't be deceived, this is actually a great product!The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because of the waterproof factor. I would say for the most part that is true-depending on how many coats you put on; for example one day I only put on just one coat and after some tears it wasn't that bad but after some tears after 3 coats, it's not really waterproof at all (yes I cry a lot). Additionally, tears aside, where I live the heat/humidity is pretty bad and the sweat that seemed to cause the mascara to leave a little mark under the eye in a similar way as any other mascara I've tried. But that might just be the way my eyes are, anatomy wise.Overall, definitely a better deal, a better product and a huge time saver than any other HD Fiber/ Volumizing mascara I have tried. Will definitely buy again. The time savings is huge than what I have been doing prior to buying this!I received my Lavish Lash HD mascara a little over a week ago & I must say that I am very impressed with the product! Since I wear contact lenses it's hard for me to find mascara that won't irritate my contacts. This mascara doesn't irritate them and it looks good...really good! I love how it lengthens my lashes without clumping. I've always wanted to try false eyelashes but I don't because I am afraid of the irritation of the clue and the fact that they, well, look fake LOL. I also like Lavish Lash because it only needs applied once during the day. This is wonderful for those times when I have an unexpected appointment after work and I didn't bring my makeup case to reapply it. The Lavish Lash looks great ALL day long! And last but not least, I like Lavish Lash because it comes right along with my makeup when I wash my face before bed. I don't have to do anything differently to get it off like I would if it was other waterproof mascaras that I've used in the past. The only thing that made me give Lavish Lash 4 stars instead of 5 was the price. I don't think a mascara regardless of how good it is justifies $19.99 a bottle unless it's going to last at least 6 months. I'd pay no more than $12.99 tops for this or any mascara unless it can guarantee that it will last me at least 6 months. But other than the price, Lavish Lash is a mascara that I would use ALL the time & recommend to others.The wand detached from the handle, so I couldn't get the wand out if the tube
