It’s very hard for me to find plain brown mascara at the store, it’s usually “black brown”. I’m naturally blonde with light eye lashes, so black mascara tends to looks very dramatic on me. This mascara has worked very well for that day time look I wanted. Plus, it’s cruelty free.I have been ISO a true brown mascara for a long time. This one is the winner hands down! It applies cleanly, doesn’t smudge, and lasts until you take it off. (Unless you cry.) by far the best mascara at any price.The brown color I feel makes my eyes pop and it makes my eyelashes look long and full!Very easy application, doesn’t clump, pretty color. Idk if it’s how I wear makeup badly or the mascara but sometimes it would be on my eyelids- but otherwise very nice and good priceThis is a great natural looking mascara for cheap, which is what I personally wanted. I have very blonde lashes, so I wanted something that would add a little color and look very natural for that no-makeup look. However, this mascara provides relatively no curl, lengthening, or volume. It pretty much just adds color to the lashes you have. It’s fine if that’s what you want, but otherwise I’d look elsewhere. Also, the product oddly smells like chocolate? I haven’t decided if that’s a positive or negative… it’s kind of weird.I’ve worn this mascara for years and loved it, but recently wanted to switch from the black/brown color to the brown color. I then discovered that the brown color doesn’t exist in local stores in my city! I don’t get this, but I knew that Amazon might have it, and yes, it did. The brown color, at least for me, is a bit softer looking and more natural looking, especially when I’m at that "mature" age. Ha!Liked the brush, wasn't sure I would, as another review seemed it was not so user friendly. I found it extremely easy, lightweight, and actually liked it very much. Very inexpensive, but seems smudge proof, and a great product.
